Description: Same setup as the TF5000 except this DOES NOT include the tank or plumbing needed to hook the system up to your tank. You will need to measure the fitting on your tank and then fit the correct length of black pipe or soft hose to plumb to the first filter, it's not very hard to do and should cost $20 or less. Totes, can be found for less than $100, most are around $50 and some are free! They have a ball valve at the bottom, simply plug the filter/pump package on and go.




"Mobile System", purchase a hitch hauler that slides into the 2" receiver on your vehicle, between $80-100 new. Locate a small tank, the tank we have is 35 gallon, make sure the bottom is flat so it stays put. It also needs places to secure tie-downs to keep it in place. Remember that oil weighs 8lbs per gallon, most hitch haulers can only carry 500lbs. The oil in a 35 gallon tank will weigh 280lbs, the rest of the unit will weigh about 80lbs. Add a cheap inverter and an extension cord, and you have a mobile unit!

Filter Overview: The TF5000 is different all the way around, within this system we utilize 3 external filters:

-The first is a stainless steel strainer that filters to 30 microns. The stainless element in this filter can be removed easily for cleaning.

-The second filter is a 10 micron water block filter. This filter needs to be replaced every 1,000 gallons.

-The third filter is an upgraded PFC5000 polypropylene filter cartridge, it is a 1 micron filter designed for the greater pressures and fuel volumes that the TF5000 experiences. It needs to be replaced every 1,000 gallons with a fresh cartridge. 10 extra PFC5000 filters are included with every TF5000 order, so you have 11,000 gallons to go through before you need to re-order.

-The fourth ,and most important, filter is a custom FP-3 filtration media assembly, which is designed to handle the input/output volumes that this large system sees on a daily basis.

You should expect to replace the FP-3 filtration media every 50,000 gallons, a replacement costs $500.00 and this works down to $0.01 per gallon.  A water block filter will run around $15 locally and a 1 micron PFC5000 filter costs $15. Again 10 extra PFC5000 filters come with each unit.
